| Imagine your wedding or catered affair in our serene country setting with its beautiful gardens, expansive lawn and historic architecture. Imagine the memories that will be made on the grounds of this magnificent estate that dates back to before the days of the American Revolution and was a family home for over 200 years.
A reception at Liberty Hall Museum will be a one of a kind event designed by you. The rental fee allows you access to our beautiful grounds. The myriad of other details involved in planning a large reception are left for you to design with your own personal taste in mind, along with the assistance of your event planner or caterer. Of course, we will be happy to answer any questions you have and will be available to provide guidance along the way.
The 1882 Carriage House with its vintage charm is suitable for sit-down dinners of up to 70 persons and may be used by larger parties for a ceremony or cocktail reception. A tent to accommodate up to 150 persons may be erected on the large grassy area adjacent to it. The fragrant rose garden (pictured on left) makes a lovely setting for an intimate ceremony. Your guests may tour the historic mansion before the party begins.
