Watch OUT!

Don't expect the banquet director / owner to be able to address your concerns if this is your first marriage. You won't get any guidance or niceties. You'll be rushed at meetings whether in person or over the phone. You'll think things are great before you pay your second payment, but after that, watch out - the chips start falling. Ask about all costs up front and insist on a breakdown of each cost and whether any portion of that cost is separately payable to the facility. We thought we had been told all there was to know about costs - especially in light of the advertisement of "No Hidden Fees," but WATCH OUT! We tried to save some money by using our own vendor and were told we'd still have to pay The Arlington's fee for what that vendor provided. All I can say is watch out and be very careful. He's a slick one and he'll get you when you're not looking. Not for the weak at heart. He's intimidating, pushy and manipulative when he talks to you, and might offer you something different facility-wise than the next customer. He has a large sum of our money and he did not do a thing for us but cause us stress and aggravation. We canceled our reception at this facility and would not recommend it to anyone.
